BFGoodrich® Tires was proud to be the official tire for the 2nd Annual King of the Hammers race, where drivers pit their skills against the open desert and the worst the Hammer Trails have to offer. It's desert racing and rock crawling - all in one first-to-the-finish dash to the checkered flag.
This year Jason Scherer took the win on a set of BFGoodrich® Baja T/A® KRT B-compound tires that were custom built for the race. Even after surviving a roll on the infamous Sledgehammer trail, Scherer completed the 82-mile course in just under 4 hours and 43 minutes - with no flats.
Other entrants running BFGoodrich this year included racers Tracy Jordan, Brad and Roger Lovell, Dean "Iceman" Bulloch, Shannon Campbell and Casey Currie, who took second on BFGoodrich® Krawler™ T/A® KX tires.
