The World's Toughest, Um, Luxury Tires?
March 18, 2005

The 2006 Lincoln Mark LT is a can-do vehicle that combines the looks and functionality of a pickup, with the interior of a five-passenger luxury car. And to achieve the ideal blend of luxury and performance, it rides exclusively on BFGoodrich® tires: BFGoodrich Long Trail T/A® on the 2WD version and BFGoodrich Rugged Trail T/A® on the 4WD Mark LT.

The Lincoln Mark LT blends Lincoln elegance in styling, interior, and ride sophistication, and is enhanced with savvy engineering features to optimize performance and handling. It features a boxed frame with coil-over-shock, double-wishbone front suspension. The Hotchkiss-design rear suspension features shocks outboard of the frame rails to minimize body lean in lane changes and other maneuvers.

Powered by a 300 HP 5.4-liter V8, the Mark LT also features four-wheel discs with anti-lock and electronic brake force distribution (EBD) standard on both the 2WD and 4WD versions.

BFGoodrich tires are The World's Toughest Off-Road Tires™. From 1/1/04 through 12/31/04, BFGoodrich tires won 240 of 310 major off-road competitions.
