Project 350Z Rides on BFG
October 31, 2005

The goal of the Modified Magazine Project 350Z was to build a car that not only turns heads everywhere it goes, but can hold its own both on and off the racetrack. A critical element in this project was the choice of BFGoodrich® g-Force T/A®KDW tires.

With a performance goal of 450 HP through a fully built engine aided by a turbo kit, Modified Magazine technical editor Peter Tarasch feels the Project 350Z represents the peak of performance and aesthetic aftermarket parts available.

The starting base car—a 2003 Nissan 350Z Track Edition—received a makeover that included a wide-body kit, 19-inch wheels, a carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber rear wing, coilover shocks, sports exhaust system and custom front and rear camber arms.

Why BFGoodrich® tires? "We chose BFGoodrich tires because they have proven time and again to be an all-around excellent tire," says Tarasch. "Excellent performance, lasting tread wear, amazing traction. To add to the performance functions, the g-Force T/AKDW tires look absolutely killer—complementing the car's already aggressive stance and exterior."
