February 8, 2002 BFGoodrich® Brand Is Official Tire of CORR Series; Continues Full Support for 2002 Season Greenville, SC The BFGoodrich® brand, the official tire for Championship Off Road Racing since the series began, has signed on for another season. The brand will also continue to provide a lucrative contingency program and on-site tractor-trailer support for teams competing on BFGoodrich T/A® tires, America's premier off-road radials. "CORR is a great showcase for BFGoodrich performance light-truck and SUV tires, and an excellent place to entertain our dealers," said Frank DeAngelo, manager, BFGoodrich Tires off-road racing. "The CORR Series also gives us the opportunity to test our tires in the extreme conditions that only motorsports offers. We have a history of using racing to prove and improve the products we offer to consumers, and our involvement in the CORR Series is a good example of that philosophy." For 2002, the BFGoodrich Tires contingency fund will total more than $140,000, including $10,000 bonuses for championships in the Pro-2 and Pro-4 divisions, and a $5,000 award for a year-end title in Pro-Lite. The fund offers awards for event wins in those classes, as well as in the Sportsman 2, Sportsman Stock, Super Buggy, Single Buggy and Single Light Buggy categories. The familiar BFGoodrich Tires tractor-trailer will be on-site at all 14 races and will be staffed with tire technicians to provide tire mounting and grooving support for teams equipped with BFGoodrich tires. In 2001, teams running on BFGoodrich tires won all three Pro championships and three of five titles in the Sportsman division. BFGoodrich tires are made for people looking to take control of the driving experience.
