April 2, 2004 BFGoodrich® Tires Expands g-Force™ T/A® KDW Tire Line To 85 Sizes; Ultra-High Performance Line Now Largest In The Industry Los Angeles, C.A. To meet increasing market demand, BFGoodrich® Tires is introducing 36 new sizes to its g-ForceTM T/A® KDW ultra-high performance tire line by July 2004. With the addition of the new sizes, the g-Force T/A KDW tire line becomes the largest in the industry with 85 sizes to equip vehicles from Mini Coopers to HUMMER H2s. The new sizes being introduced range from 15 inches to 20 inches and include tires designed for both passenger car and light truck and sport utility vehicles. In addition, BFGoodrich Tires is planning to add an additional four sizes in 2005. "With the addition of the new sizes, the BFGoodrich Tires g-Force T/A KDW tire offers more dimensions than any other tire line in the world," said Thom Peebles, brand director for BFGoodrich Tires. "Both consumers and dealers asked for more sizes and we have delivered. The g-Force T/A KDW tire is no longer just an option for those with select wheel sizes." The g-Force T/A KDW tire offers special sport compact sizes engineered for two- and four-wheel drive applications as well as SUV dub and dub-plus sizes designed to handle truck load capacity requirements. Many celebrities choose the g-Force T/A KDW tire to put the finishing touch on their customized vehicle with the tire being made available in two tread patterns. While the original tread pattern closely mimics the BFGoodrich g-Force rain tire used in the Trans Am road-racing series, the newest tread pattern features unidirectional CAD-designed tread elements designed specifically for cool appeal on high-performance sport compact cars and sport trucks. Recognized by Tire Rack as one of the top ultra-high-performance tires, the g-Force T/A KDW tire has also been selected as original equipment for the turbocharged 2004 Dodge SRT-4, which has 5.8-second 0-60 mph capability, featuring P205/50ZR17 BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW high-performance tires mounted on 17" x 6" cast aluminum wheels.
