April 11, 2005BFGoodrich® Tires Sweeps First UROC Pro-National Event: Krawler T/A®KX Tire Climbs Over Competition Salt Lake City, U.T. BFGoodrich® Tires picked right up where they left off in 2004 sweeping the first UROC Pro-National rock crawling event in Salt Lake City, Utah this past weekend. BFGoodrich Tires teams took the top spot in both the Modified and Super Modified classes on a monster man-made rock crawling course at the Rocky Mountain Raceway with the Krawler T/A®KX tire serving as tire of choice for the event's top finishers. "This is a great start to 2005," said Todd Steen, motorsports marketing manager for BFGoodrich Tires. "Our teams came in and were really prepared and used their experience from last year's SuperCrawl event on a man-made course to clinch the first competition of the season." Shannon Campbell won the Super Modified Class while Brian Errea captured the first Modified Stock class win of the season. Overall, BFGoodrich Tires teams took the top 10 spots in the Super Modified class and the top four in the modified class. In 2004, BFGoodrich Tires won more rock crawling competitions than all the competition combined including victories in Super Crawl III and the overall UROC series championship. The next UROC Pro-National Series competition is scheduled for May 12-14 in Phoenix, Ariz.
