BFGoodrich Tires Claims Multiple Wins in First CORR Series Race; BFGoodrich Tires Teams Start Season Strong
Greenville, S.C.

Teams running BFGoodrich tires picked up right where they left off in 2004 scoring multiple class wins during Rounds 1 and 2 at the first event of the Championship Off-Road Racing (CORR) series season in Lake Odessa, Michigan. Carl Renezeder, driving on BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A tires swept Rounds 1 and 2 in the Pro-4 division at the I-96 Speedway to take an early lead in the division.

Starting where he left off last season, 6-time defending Pro-2 champion Scott Taylor passed the leader with four laps remaining to claim his 39th career Pro-2 victory in Round 1. Josh Baldwin finished behind Taylor for 2nd place, and Scott Douglas, competing for the first time in the Pro-2 division finished 3rd.

In the Pro-2 standings after the first two rounds, Taylor has a 31-30 lead over the second place driver.

BFGoodrich tires driver Jeff Kincaid earned his 32nd career Pro-Lite victory in Round 2 and is currently tied for the points lead in the class.

Entering the 2005 season, BFGoodrich Tires has won the CORR series championship every year since the series began and has won more victories than all other tire companies combined. In 2004, BFGoodrich Tires, a sponsor of the CORR series since it began in 1998, clinched the Pro-Lite, Pro-2 and Pro-4 division championships.
