PAYBACK KICKS OFF ITS 2nd SEASON ON SPEED; THE ORIGINAL SERIES BY PRODUCER BUD BRUTSMAN

CELEBRITIES PAYBACK THE UNHERALDED PEOPLE BEHIND THEIR RISE TO FAME Ð WITH A TRICK NEW CUSTOM RIDE ON BFGOODRICH® TIRES

Bud Brutsman, creator of hit reality shows Overhaulin’ and Rides, brings back to SPEED the original series Payback debuting May 31 at 9 p.m. ET.

After first season’s successful run featuring such stars as Jay Leno, Brooke Burke and Dale Earnhardt, Jr, here comes a new round of celebrities giving back to those who helped them get where they are today.

Payback will tell intriguing stories covering all walks of celebrity life, from the music industry, silver screen and professional sports world. Tim Allen, Jaime Pressly, Ken Shamrock, Manny Ramirez and Travis Barker are among those that customized a cool GM vehicle for the person that made a difference in their life. BFGoodrich plays a role by equipping each vehicle with just the right tires to complement the new custom ride.

The first episode features the heavy metal band, Korn, who takes a Cadillac STS and rocks it out for their first band manager. The former manager worked tirelessly to secure gigs, sell CDs and promote the band when Korn was in its infancy. You won’t want to miss Killer Paint’s Mike Lavalee and his amazing airbrush expertise that makes this caddy truly one-of-a-kind.

According to Brutsman, his goal is to create a show touching people’s lives on many different levels.

“You can’t believe how much fun these celebrities are having with each show,” said Brutsman. “It’s simply amazing to see how honored and blown away each recipient is when a celebrity who is close to their heart takes this much time to do something amazing for them. “
