June 6, 2003 Get Unstuck With BFGoodrich® Tires' Adventure Assurance Roadside Assistance Greenville, SC NOTE: Please be aware that the BFGoodrich Roadside Assistance and Adventure Assurance warranty programs are discontinued as of December 31, 2004. BFGoodrich® Tires is providing consumers who purchase All-Terrain T/A® KO or Mud-Terrain T/A® KM tires with 24-hours-a-day, 365- days-a-year assistance for up to 24-months from the date of original purchase. BFGoodrich® Tires' Adventure Assurance Roadside Assistance is available anywhere in the United States and Canada. To receive roadside assistance, consumers can simply call a toll-free number provided with the original purchase and a local service provider will be dispatched to their location. "With this unique program, help will be there when you need it the most," said Scott Dishman, marketing manager for BFGoodrich light-truck tires. "Our customers use our tires on and off the road and we recognize the need to provide assistance in both areas." In the event of a flat tire, the service provider will replace the tire with an inflated spare. This unique service also includes off-road towing for BFGoodrich tire customers whose vehicles are stranded in difficult terrain such as mud, snow, sand, or ice. This service is not transferable and is only for the vehicles for which the tires were purchased. Service is provided on a sign-and-drive basis. There is no out-of-pocket cost for the covered service, up to the maximum benefit allowed. You simply sign the receipt and drive away. If the cost of service exceeds the amount allowed, you will be responsible to pay the difference at the time service is rendered. Services are limited to a maximum of $60.00 per incident and three incidents per year per customer. Service excludes RVs, fleet vehicles, any vehicle in tow, trucks over one ton capacity, commercial vehicles, vandalism, theft, accident-related incidents, all services not dispatched through our toll-free number, and services to a disabled vehicle already at a repair facility. Service may not be available in areas where state providers are exclusively utilized. In addition to the Adventure Assurance Roadside Assistance program, customers who purchase Commercial T/A® All-Season, Commercial T/A® Traction, Control T/A® M65, Control T/A® M80 or Winter Slalom can take advantage of BFGoodrich Tires' Roadside Assistance program. The Roadside Assistance Program also provides 24-hours-a-day, 365-days-a-year assistance for up to 24-months from the date of original purchase.
