BFGoodrich® Tires Launches New Radial T/A® Size Aimed At Hot Rodders; New Size Is Latest Addition To The High-Performance Radial Tire Line
DETROIT, MI

BFGoodrich® Tires has launched a new size of the legendary Radial T/A tire aimed specifically at hot rodders and car customizers. The new size, 155/80R15, is a perfect fit for the front axle of many of today's custom hot rods and high boys.

"The Radial T/A tire was the first radial designed and built for performance and aesthetics," said Thom Peebles, brand director of BFGoodrich Tires. "The addition of this new size shows that the tire line that revolutionized the muscle car craze has still got a lot of juice left."

Input from car builders, tire dealers and designers led to the introduction of this latest addition to the Radial T/A family now totaling 46 sizes ranging from 13- to 16-inches.

The addition of the new size now gives car builders a matching front Radial T/A tire for numerous applications. Prior to this tire being introduced, customizers were having to put a different tire on the front of their vehicles to maintain the desired look.

"The BFGoodrich Radial T/A tire defined self-expression in the muscle car era," said Richard Winchester, field marketing manager for BFGoodrich Tires. "This tire line continues to build on a strong heritage of firsts that range from custom cars to racing at Le Mans."
