BFGoodrich® Tires Trackside - Weekly Racing Update
Greenville, SC

Each week, BFGoodrich® Tires provides highlights of the past week's racing including oval, road, drag racing and various off-road series results. In addition, This Week at BFGoodrich Tires highlights upcoming events.

Championship Off-Road Racing (CORR)
BFGoodrich Tires won 13 of 16 races and the Borg Warner Championship Race at Crandon International Raceway in Crandon, Wisconsin. This was the final weekend for the Sportsman division while the PRO classes have one more event with two races to be held in Edmenston, New York.

BFGoodrich Teams won seven of the eight classes on Saturday including all five Sportsman classes and two of the three Pro-classes. On Sunday, BFGoodrich Teams won four of the five Sportsman classes and two of the three Pro-classes.

Carl Renezeder won the Borg Warner Championship race which is held each year as a special shoot-out race consisting of the 20 fastest trucks. This marks the seventh straight year that BFGoodrich vehicles have finished first.

American Speed Association (ASA)
Veteran Mike Garvey led only 19 laps at the Greased Lightning Orange Blast 400, but they were the most important. Garvey scored a Labor Day victory at Elko Speedway raising his 2003 win total to four.

The ASA Racing Series returns to action on Saturday, September 20 at Illiana Motor Speedway in Schererville, Indiana, for the running of the CITGO/MDA 250 presented by Jani-King.

Trans-Am Road Racing Series
Two-time Trans-Am Series champion Scott Pruett scored a flag-to-flag win at the Grand Prix of Denver this past weekend.

Pruett's victory was his seventh in nine starts this season while setting a new track record and winning the BFGoodrich Tires Take Control award. With his 21st career Trans-Am win, Pruett is now tied for fourth place in all-time wins with Bob Tullius, who won both the Drivers and Manufacturers Championships for Jaguar in 1978.

Round 10 of the 2003 Trans-Am Tour championship is scheduled for Sept. 26-28 as part of the Grand Prix Americas on the streets of downtown Miami.
