September 16, 2005 BFGoodrich® Tires Challenges You to Drive, Watch and Win at NOPI Nationals Atlanta, G.A. BFGoodrich® Tires, maker of The World's Hottest Street Tire, is turning up the heat at this year's NOPI Nationals in Atlanta with the opportunity for enthusiasts to drive, watch and win. Driving BFGoodrich's efforts at NOPI is the BFG Challenge, getting enthusiasts into the driver's seat of a new 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT. In addition, Kousuke "Mad" Kida, president of Signal Auto, will give rides to consumers in the Signal Auto Skyline GTR. To top this all off, enthusiasts will have the opportunity to win a car load of great products with the NOPI Extreme Scavenger Hunt. BFG Challenge The BFG Challenge will put consumers in the driver's seat of a 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT equipped with the hottest family of ultra-high-performance tiresthe g-Force T/A. The BFG Challenge will be open for NOPI attendees on Saturday, Sept. 17 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 18 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Earnhardt parking lot at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Participants can register at the BFG Challenge to drive an Eclipse GT and compare the g-Force T/A® family of tires with other competitor brands. Experts from BFGoodrich Tires and event partners Mitsubishi, Castrol SYNTEC and KÖNIG® Wheels will be on hand to answer any questions. "The BFG Challenge offers NOPI fans a hands-on experience with one of the hottest cars on the market, with the hottest tire on the market," said Owen Schiano, brand director for BFGoodrich Tires. In addition, Kousuke "Mad" Kida will be on hand breaking the 1g barrier while cornering, accelerating and braking in an amazing Signal Auto Time Attack Skyline GTR equipped with g-Force T/A®KD street tires. NOPI Extreme Scavenger Hunt While soaking in all of the great sights NOPI has to offer, enthusiasts with cameras or picture phones will be able to enter the NOPI Extreme Scavenger Hunt. To participate with a digital camera, consumers will capture images in four categories: Most Extreme BFGoodrich® Tire, Wildest KÖNIG® Wheel, Coolest Shot of the Castrol® SYNTEC® Logo and the Most Outrageous Car Show Moment. Participants will submit their digital photos when they register online at BFG.textamerica.com.
