The man that would be king of the hill, 2004 UROC Modified Class Champion Dean Bulloch
GREENVILLE, S.C.

With numerous divisional championships Dean "Iceman" Bulloch, the driver for the On Track Krawler Team, is one of the winningest competitors in UROC history. This self-confessed adrenaline junkie says he owes at least some of the credit to his BFGoodrich® KrawlerTM T/A® tires.

How did you first get into rockcrawling?
"It would be somewhere around 1990. I had a 1988 Suzuki Samurai. I got invited to a trip in Moab, Utah. I got my ass kicked! I came home and the next day and ordered $8000 in parts - I thought, 'this will never happen to me again'."

How long have you been competing?
"I've been in competition since 2001 and we've won more events than anyone in this sport's history."

How important are tires to you?
"The vehicle is very important and the tires are very important. The vehicle is 50% and the tires are 50% to make a 100% good rockcrawler.

With BFGoodrich tires you never have to worry about having a flat. I have never had a tire go down on me ever. When we are in line at a competition and there's this big nasty wall and I see some other tire brands, I sit and I smile inside 'cause I know with my Krawlers that I'm going to crawl right up that wall."

What do you love about rockcrawling?
"When I'm rockcrawling and in a competition I have a feeling I never get anywhere else. It makes me feel good, especially when you can do something that someone else can't. I want to kick somebody's butt on the playing field. Trail runs are a lot of fun, but I want to do in front of the crowds. I'm an adrenaline junkie and an attention junkie!

My ultimate highlight was winning the Supercrawl in 2004. It doesn't get any bigger than that. We had won ever series we could win, except Supercrawl. What an ending to a great season! I never screamed and yelled so loud."

Where is your favorite spot to rockcrawl?
"My favorite spot is Vernal, Utah. That is north of Moab - northeastern Utah - it's all sandstone and sand. I have won every event I've ever attended there. We're always happy there, and attitude has a lot to do with it."
