November 4, 2003 BFGoodrich® Tires Launches World's First Sport Compact Dub Tire; g-Force T/A®KDW Line Goes From Mini Coopers To H2s Las Vegas, N.V. BFGoodrich® Tires has launched the world's first sport compact dub tire, a new 20-inch g-Force T/A®KDW. 
The new tire, size P225/30ZR20, is the latest addition to the number one performance tire line and has been specifically designed to fit many popular sport compact cars with little or no modification, including the Mini Cooper, Honda Civic and Volkswagen Golf. The tire is featured in the brand's SEMA display located in the South Hall/Lower Level at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
This latest addition is indicative of a growing trend toward larger wheel sizes and further customization of sport compact cars. "Both consumers and dealers asked for more sizes and we are delivering," said Thom Peebles, BFGoodrich Tires brand director. "The g-Force T/AKDW continues to set the benchmark by which all other performance and dub tires are measured." With two tread patterns, the g-Force T/AKDW is the go-to tire for enthusiasts who want the ultimate in ultra-high performance, rain or shine. The new tread pattern, which will be featured on the 20-inch new size, features a unidirectional racing-influenced tread with CAD-designed tread elements and was developed specifically for high-performance sport compact cars and sport trucks. "We continue to develop tires that offer both consumers and dealers an answer for new wheel sizes, new vehicles and new trends."
