November 4, 2003 Speed, History and Excellence at the BFGoodrich® Tires SEMA Booth
Las Vegas NV
BFGoodrich® Tires makes its mark as a leader in the aftermarket by showcasing the winningest and most desirable vehicles of the moment at this year's Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show.
At its SEMA 2003 exhibit (booth number 42133 South Hall/Lower Level), BFGoodrich Tires offers some of the world's most impressive motorsports vehicles outfitted with the world's leading manufacturer of high-performance tires. Included within the display are the Signal Drifting Twins, which are the leading contenders in the new sport of drifting - where drivers intentionally put their cars into sideways skids demonstrating their ability to control the uncontrollable.
"This year's SEMA display is a true testament to not only the wide array of BFGoodrich high-performance tires, but also the manner in which this company has performed on the track and streets," said Thom Peebles, BFGoodrich brand director. "It's one thing to offer motorsports tires, but this brand puts a stamp of unmatched excellence on every single product that finds its way onto an automobile or truck."
The BFGoodrich Tires display at SEMA features a blend of racing, power, speed, finesse and history. Included among the vehicles showcased at SEMA are:
- Motorsports Performance Supra - Paul Efantis drove this 1,130-horsepower import vehicle to the 2003 NOPI Drag Racing Association (NDRA) Pro Street Tire title, winning all 10 races. Recently, Efantis broke his own world record with a blistering 8.25 second quarter mile at 170.8 m.p.h. at Englishtown, N.J. - the fastest import pass ever on street radial tires. Tires are BFGoodrich Drag Radial, P325/50R15.
- Signal Auto Drift Twins - The Signal Auto Drift Twins are the world's most legendary stars of drifting. The Tanabe Racing Development-equipped 385-horsepower Signal Auto "Sil-eighties" feature suspension, chassis and running gear extensively modified for the tire-smoking tandem. Tires are 205/40ZR17 g-Force® T/AKD in the front and 245/40ZR18 g-Force T/AKD in the rear.

Tires are 215/35ZR18/RF g-ForceKDW in the front and 295/45R22/RF g-Force T/AKDW in the rear.
