November 5, 2002 BFGoodrich® Tires Adds Three Sizes to All-Terrain T/A®KO Line Las Vegas, NV BFGoodrich® Tires is adding three sizes to its All-Terrain T/A® KO line, which continues the rugged tradition of the legendary Radial All-Terrain T/A®, the world's first performance off-road radial. The new sizes are: LT305/70R16, LT285/70R17 and LT285/65R18. All are load-range D. All three are designed to give consumers additional options in creating a distinctive look for their SUVs or pickups. The LT305/70R16, one of the fastest growing sizes in the replacement market, provides customizing options for those who want a beefier tire without having to change wheels. Meanwhile, the 17- and 18-inch offerings are plus-size applications and are especially popular with owners of full-size trucks and SUVs. They are also being used with lift kits on smaller SUVs, like the Jeep Wrangler. BFG also added an LT 315/70R17 to the All-Terrain T/A KO line earlier in the year. This dimension is the original equipment size for General Motors' HUMMER H2, which uses the tire as an exclusive fitment. No matter which sizes consumers select, however, they are assured of the exceptional performance that is expected from all tires that carry the All-Terrain T/A KO name. Now available in 34 sizes, the tire features the following design and construction elements:
