The monument was revealed today outside the Riviera del Pacifico Convention Center on Boulevard Costero, at a press conference directed by Ensenada Mayor, César Mancillas Amador, SCORE President/CEO, Sal Fish, and BFGoodrich Tires Brand Director, Owen Schiano. The monument, designed by the City of Ensenada, commemorates both BFGoodrich Tires' significant role in the history of the SCORE Baja 1000 as well as SCORE desert racing. Standing at nine feet high, the monument will be a centerpiece in the heart of Ensenada. The monument features a commemorative plaque saluting both BFGoodrich and SCORE, written in both English and Spanish.
