December 15, 2003 BFGoodrich® Tires Dusts Competition In SCORE Desert Racing Series Greenville, NC BFGoodrich Tires, known for its reputation as the tire of choice for off-road racers and enthusiasts, secured the overall points championship when veteran Southern California racers Dale Ebberts and Ernie Castro, Jr. won the overall points championship and the unlimited Class 1 title in the 2003 SCORE Desert Series. On its way to another SCORE title, BFGoodrich Tires claimed its 18th consecutive victory in the legendary Baja 1000 race. For Ebberts, the 2003 championship marks his third SCORE class championship and his second overall victory on BFGoodrich Tires. Las Vegas relatives Tim and Ed Herbst won the featured SCORE Trophy-Truck division championship for a record fourth time its 10-year history. With their two wins this season, the Herbst brothers have now won a record 11 of 62 races in the high-technology, high-horsepower unlimited production truck class.
