        Better Than My Michelins

              Comments about Traction T/A Spec:

My 02 Chrysler has never had anything on it but Michelins 'til 2yrs ago. In snow, I could not get up this hill to get out of my street for nothing. I ended up with a set of BFG Tractions and have had no problem getting in and out of my street yet - even in snow & ice. I was skeptical at first - I always kept Michelins on my cars but I have to say - I learned something. I am buying a new set of BFG's when I go to replace these.

                    Snow - very good (NH)
                    Rain - very good
Ride - ok< VERY loud at highway speeds
                    Ware - Poor

This is the second set of tires for this car, had the rotated at every oil change, alinement etc, but at least one tire makes lots of road nose,
dealer said uneven ware? they all look warn in the middle? with proper pressure at all times? they have 20k and look warn out...so much for 70k warranty.
Would never buy this brand again.

Lead Foot says it all. the first thing I do when I get a new car is put on better tires so I don't spin them so much at the stop lights and signs. Not only have BFG traction TA tires helped lessen the squealing when I dump the clutch but after 2 years and 38,000 miles without a rotate and ballance there is no cupping or uneven wear on any wheel and still even a little tread left on the drive wheels. Very good tires, I'll definately be getting another set.
