Awful in snow

              Comments about Traction T/A:

These tires seemed to be fine until the first snowfall. Don't buy these tires if you drive in snow. They are so bad that I contacted the company- but the rep defended the tire, and told me if I need better traction I should buy snow tires. I put on a lot of miles, and have 26 years of driving in snow without incident. I have never owned a snow tire- I buy all season tires. If you don't believe me do a Google search: "BF Goodrich Traction TA review snow", but without quotes.

I drive 75 mostly highway miles one way to work in a 2004 Ford Focus. These are the only tires I will put on it. Get a consistent 32+ mpg. I will use these until they stop making them. They will get noisy when they are ready to replace, and by that time they will begin to lose traction in wet weather.

                          Comments about Traction T/A:

Bought a set of T/A Traction tires for my 2005 CR-V. When I first purchased the car (used), there was a very cheap set of BCT tires.

What a difference a set of good tires makes! My car has never had a smoother ride and the performance in wet weather has been great so far. I'm looking forward to seeing how they do in the snow.

                          • You need to know your vehicle's options to find out the original size of the tires for your vehicle because automobile manufacturers often use different wheel and tire sizes for different variations of a specific vehicle. If you do not know your vehicle's options, check one of these places:

1. The original sales invoice or window sticker when you bought the vehicle.
2. Your vehicle's Owner's Manual, which will sometimes identify your vehicle's options.
3. Look on the vehicle itself. Some vehicles have a decal or lettering that indicates the options located on the side or rear of the vehicle.
