Comments about Radial T/A:

Love the classic tread pattern. And the solid white letters
are awesome. The tire rides great and the white letters look great on the classic ford. We went with the 275/60R15. Love the Tire , Ride,& look.

Miserable raised brown letters

By Sxrxrnr

from USA

Comments about Radial T/A:

Have used these tires for years. However the tires unable to recommend tire to anyone or to purchase again because of the severe browning of white letters. Appears to be an issue on 255/60 or larger tires.

I have had friends buy 4 tires..in both cases 275/60 for rear,,,,severe browning. 235/60 for front all is as should be. In my case purchased 255/60's. All are horrendous.

Were ok right after blue protectant was removed. Within 2 days started downhill. 3 months later ashamed to drive this show car. Nothing helps. And I have been detailing for 30 years.

I believe since Michelin acquired Goodrich they changed the rubber formula. Rumor is that they added silicone do could remove tire from molds more quickly thereby speeding production.

When you call Michelin, they admit issue exists but will not fess up to cause,,,suggesting that they do not know cause. My tires were made in Ardmore OK plant. Perhaps other plants still have it right.

Numerous photos upon request from various auto shows.

Please Michelin, fix this problem.

T/A Radials White Letters Brown

Comments about Radial T/A:

I have a 69 SS Camaro I am restoring. Have spent upwards of $20,000.00 to date and still working on it, I want it to look good. I intend to show the car but have a big problem with my T/A's White Letters, the top of the letters have developed a brown tint. These tires are less than two years old and have little mileage. The car has been in the garage all the time with exception of driving to the local car Cruz-Ins four times, total mileage of 48 miles. The car gets a good bathing afterwards. I am highly dissatisfied and ashamed to drive the car in public with these brown colored lettering tires. I makes me appear that I don't take care of the cleanliness of my Classic 69 Camaro. Something has changed with the tire manufacturing processes. I have seen other comments referring to the same problem, and replaced tire's that will do the same thing. I guess I will have to spend another $$$$ or so to change out for another set of another brand so I can show the car. These tires I do not recommend at this time.
