Not the same tire

By Douger

from USA

Comments about Radial T/A:

I've been buying and trusting BFG tires exclusively for over 35 years for all kinds of vehicles. Off-Road, Hot Rods, Sports Cars, Family Cars, you name it, and have never had a SINGLE issue with any of them until my last 2 sets. The rubber compound seems to have changed, and the tires develop sidewall cracks in a very short time. I really hate to see BFGoodrich tires decline in quality like so many other American products have. I will be looking at other brands for my next purchase.

The best replacement tire for your classic car!

By Vette Man

from USA

Comments about Radial T/A:

This summer I recently purchased a pristine 1976 Corvette with 25K miles. My Vette came with low mileage BFG Radial T/As. The tires looked almost as good as the car. However, I discovered via BFG's responsive Customer Service that my Vette's tires were a frightening 23 years old that were made in March 1993! In spite of the ample tread that remained on my vintage tires, I was overjoyed to find that BFG offered replacement T/As that maintained the classic tire look, while offering the latest technology in construction and safety for a reasonable price.

The smoother ride and the reduced noise of the new Radial T/As puts a smile on my face every time I take my Vette out for a spin.

Do yourself and your classic car a favor, check the date codes on each of your vehicle's tires. BFG's responsive customer service will gladly assist you if you need help. Replace your tires if they are over six to ten years old. It's an inexpensive investment towards extending your cars life as well as your own, and/or perhaps someone else's. ...besides, you will enjoy the smoother, quieter ride, while knowing you are riding on safer tires. It's a win win.

Same Problem With Keeping Letters White

By Classic Car Guy

from USA

Comments about Radial T/A:

I have had the same experience with these tires as Dandy Dan. The letters turn brown, and there is nothing that I can do to clean them back to white; not even the best whitewall cleaner on the market will work. I have put these tires on three classic cars (which are driven sparingly), and the same result on each. Good tires otherwise, but I bought them for the raised white letters which are hard to come by these days.
