Great tire when the temperature is warm but forget about it if it's cold, as expected with a summer tire. No idea why there is an M+S on the sidewall because last i remember that meant it could semi handle snow, maybe it handles snow better then a slick race tire but worse then anything ever.
I had to pull my miata in the garage from the driveway to work on it when there was a dusting of snow and instead it slid into where my other car was parked ( I moved it half expecting this to happen)
Dont expect them to preform in any cold climate, I was aware of this when buying but other's appear to not be aware

I know just about everyone comments about how great or decent these tires are but I just did not have that luck. Maybe its because my car is supercharged and I don't play around and the fact the rears were 285's but the rumble from the tires could never be balanced out and the wear was pretty quick. I would have thought if they wore that quick the ride would be smooth but it wasn't. I found another tire that handles a lot better.

I did many comparisons with tires other than the factory OEM michelins that had NO MILEAGE WARRANTEE and worn out by 30k miles and over $225 each. So I wasn't replacing my tires with those.
I found the G-Force Sports (discontinued now) and sport comp 2 (the replacement).
the specs for performance matched or exceeded the michelins for much less cost. I bought a set in october and they performed great on dry and wet pavement, i was very impressed. Yesterday I had the last two michelins replaced with the sport comp 2 and expected really great performance in the snow and on ice. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN. These tire perform worse than the worn out michelins on snow and ice. Traction on ice ZERO! I am looking for replacement options for brand new tires.
DO NOT BUY THESE TO USE AS ALL SEASON REPLACEMENTS IF YOU LIVE IN AN AREA WITH SNOW AND ICE. These perform great for dry and wet pavement ONLY.
