Tread separation

              Comments about Commercial T/A All-Season:

I bought 6 of these for my 31ft motor home and have experienced tread separation on 4 of the 6 so far. I check my tire pressures daily while traveling and keep all 6 at exactly 80lbs and drive no faster that 65mph. I also had my coach weighed, while fully loaded and it is 3500lbs under gvwr, so the tires are definitely not over loaded, my whole coach weighs just 11000 lbs and in dually configuration these are rated for 2470lbs each meaning just the real axle can support 9880lbs, and the front of the coach weighs much more than 1000lbs. After spending a total of over 12hrs waiting for roadside assistance and talking with the technicians that replaced my tire, I heard many stories of this particular tire experiencing tread separation. I am a long time BFG customer, this particular model of tire is sub standard.

                          • You need to know your vehicle's options to find out the original size of the tires for your vehicle because automobile manufacturers often use different wheel and tire sizes for different variations of a specific vehicle. If you do not know your vehicle's options, check one of these places:

1. The original sales invoice or window sticker when you bought the vehicle.
2. Your vehicle's Owner's Manual, which will sometimes identify your vehicle's options.
3. Look on the vehicle itself. Some vehicles have a decal or lettering that indicates the options located on the side or rear of the vehicle.
                          • Find the exact tire quickly using your tire size. Check your owner's manual or tire sidewall to find the required specifications.
