Best SUV tires I have ever owned

Comments about Radial Long Trail T/A:

Great mileage with even wear. Not a real off road tire but they worked great for me in Llano Hill Country and I could climb any hill or go through any mud bog with the best of them.

But the best thing is how many miles I got out of them while still getting great wet road traction and dry road braking distances.

Do not let someone sell you the Touring tires when you really want the original Long Trail T/A. I made that mistake and only got about half the mileage out of them.

These tires came on my 2010 Xterra. I am a hunter and have to drive on dirt and rock roads. These tires are terrible in mud and the worst on rocks. In Jan 2012 I blew 2 tires driving down a dirt road with few rocks. Then in Sept 2012 I blew another tire on a rocky road. Trail TA's? I don't think so. I only have them a average rating because they are ok on the highway. I am hoping BFG will do the right thing and get me into a better tire for what I do.

                          • You need to know your vehicle's options to find out the original size of the tires for your vehicle because automobile manufacturers often use different wheel and tire sizes for different variations of a specific vehicle. If you do not know your vehicle's options, check one of these places:

1. The original sales invoice or window sticker when you bought the vehicle.
2. Your vehicle's Owner's Manual, which will sometimes identify your vehicle's options.
3. Look on the vehicle itself. Some vehicles have a decal or lettering that indicates the options located on the side or rear of the vehicle.
                          • Find the exact tire quickly using your tire size. Check your owner's manual or tire sidewall to find the required specifications.
