I replaced the tires on my 2011 Jeep Patriot with a set of these tires, after reading a few reviews. they are the noises tires I have ever heard! we even took the car in to see if there was a mechanical issue! my husband keeps saying they'll get quieter as we put more miles on them. It's been since October, and they are just as noisy as ever. I would not recommend these tires to anyone unless they are deaf! If I could afford it, I'd buy new tires!!

        Loudest Tire Ive Owned (Caravan)

              Comments about Advantage T/A:

I have owned Dodge Grand Caravans for Years. Currently in a 2009 Van and I just put on New Advantage TA by BFG (Ive owned several BFG tires and never an issue),, I am happy with the tires in all aspects except the sound,,,, I honestly think it sounds like a plane headed down the runway. It is borderline embarrassing, I'm not sure if the sound is as loud outside the vehicle, but inside is almost ridiculous. Looking for advise as to lowering or raising air pressure?? These are brand new so I gave it a few weeks thinking it was just a "break-in" thing, but clearly not. AS I said, tire is great aside from noise and if it lasts for a while, I would recommend it (with the radio cranked)

                    Comments about Advantage T/A:

Ok, this is actually the first time I do an online review, because these tires deserve it.
First off, I have a 2011 Nissan versa that came with ContiProContact 185/65 R15 (Horrible tires: very noisy, poor performance, and the rubber started cracking at around 20K miles.
I replaced the four tires with the BF 195/65 R15 and I feel the difference right away. They stick much more than the Conti (they are 195mm vs the 185 mm stock), so I have much more control of the car in wet and dry, and when turning, which is when I notice the most.
Although these tires are wider than the original ones, the noise has reduced a lot!! I find very exciting how these tires made such a big difference in terms of comfort and noise.
The potholes (horrible, I live in Mexico) are much less noticeable, although this can be due to the extra wall on the tires.
I've been using these tires for 3 weeks, so I cannot comment on durability yet, but even if they don't last much, I will be happy to buy them again.
Bottomline: The Nissan versa is neither a high performance nor a very comfortable car by any means, but changing the horrible Conti tires with these made such a dramatic difference in terms of handling and comfort. If you are thinking about buying them, just do it.
