        Excessive Road Noise

              Comments about Touring T/A:

I installed 4 Touring T/A's on my 2006 Ford Fusion with 92000 miles. I am a long time BF Goodrich fan and at first these tires performed wonderfully. Wet and dry traction and handling were great. After about 18 - 19000 miles, the road noise increased, slightly but noticably. By 30,000 (1/3 treadwear) all 4 tires are ROARING. This happens at all speeds. (Please note: I am not prone to exaggerating.) I have religiously used the lifetime balance and rotation plan I purchased with the tires (every 5-6000 miles). In addition, I have repeatedly had the alignment and suspension inspected. The noise has reacehd a point where it is distracting.

I purchased these tires at 21,000 miles and just had them replaced today at 68.000 miles , so 47,000 miles on a set is pretty good , and they were not to the wear bars yet , but close. they got me thru the winter, but you could tell tread was getting low. only reason i got them replaced early is i am planning a trip and wanted to get new ones one for winter.original tires that were on car new were another name brand tires and they were bald at 21k . i might have been able to go the 60k but they would be bald as heck by then. i drive in rain and snow and have always had good traction with these.

Have used two sets of these tires on a 2005 Malibu. I've been searching for a replacement and can't find anything with similar tread life for close to the same money. I drive a lot of highway miles with these (60mile daily). Live in the Midwest where I see some snow and other conditions, never had a problem.
