Noisy Tires, very worried

By brad

from USA

Comments about Touring T/A:

after only a year of use this tire has become extremely noisy. they make the most unnerving warble-warble -warble sound I have ever had out of a set of tires. when I had them rotated, the shop said the Honda was in great mechanical shape but the tires were to blame for the noise.

Half life

By Dr. 100 mph

Comments about Touring T/A:

The first 20k miles they were good, but then, with 5/32 left, they felt slippery when cornering on dry, and more so and spinning freely in rain. It feels as if a different quality of rubber has been exposed now half way down the depth of the tread. I don't mind this too much as they felt safe until now. You should replace your tires earlier than 2/32 anyway if you value your own safety. Winter is coming and I want a deep tread. I will try another brand this time.

Stunned by the reviews re comfort

By Byron

from USA

Comments about Touring T/A:

I am stunned by the reviews I read here praising the comfortable ride of these tires. My Buick, supposedly one of the smoothest riding cars, rides like a noisy, bumpy 50's pickup with these Goodrich "Premium Touring" tires. This is especially distressing especially with my recent back injury. Admittedly, these tires' traction in snow and ice has proven better than average, but the unfortunate trade-off has been an extremely rough, noisy ride, particularly over potholes and gravel roads.
