Trailer towing / wander

        Comments about Commercial T/A All-Season 2:

I have a 1987 Chev crewcab dually and I tow a 24 foot enclosed dual axle race trailer. I have the old Commercial T/A All Season tires on the trailer (225/75R16) and they are great. I purchased 6
215/85R16 All Season 2 for the truck and have trailer wander that I didn't have before, and have not been able to resolve it by changing air pressure. It seems better with low pressure, but is not entirely resolved.
Any ideas on resolving this would be appreciated. Thanks, Gregp

              Comments about Commercial T/A All-Season 2:

Like another review, Nels, 2 - 265/75 16 Commercial T/A tires separated after approximately 31K miles, or about half of the life of the tire. Since 2003 and 7 of these tires, they are the first to give-up. I feel like this is a manufactures defect based on the nature of failure and the time frame between said failure, (ie both tires failed within a week of each other). The tires were not abused and show no signs of abuse, no side wall damage, no tread 'cupping' due to improper alignment or balancing etc...near perfect tread wear. And, both tires were mounted on the rear. Therefore, I feel BG Goodrich should honor complete replacement of both tires, not pro-rated.

Best tire yet on hard working Dually

                    Comments about Commercial T/A All-Season 2:

With 340,000 miles on my 2000 F350 4x4 Crewcab Diesel Dually, I've been thru a few sets of tires, These Commercial TA Highway tires have been the best yet, even in light ice and 6 inches of snow.

A clearance price from the local dealer convinced me to try the agressive all weather version. I can't wait to swap out the all terrain TA,s for the quiet, smooth highway tread.

These tires gave me 55000 miles on a dually hauling nearly max load about half those miles. I was really surprised how well they handled NW snow and ice without chains, nothing serious in the way of snow, but 6 inches of the white stuff with ice cap didn't cause much worry.

So far I've recommended them to several pals and we're still on speaking terms! lol
