These are excellent tires. Smooth, and quiet. This is my first set of BF Goodrich's but definitely not my last.

Comments about Long Trail T/A Tour:

After own various vehicles with various tires I can say bfgoodrich is the best. I had purchased my envoy with Michelin cross terrains, as soon as I had the opportunity I bought some 245/65/17/105t bfGoodrich long trail t/a touring tires. They are amazing, my wife could not quit smiling when she took a drive with the bfgoodrich long trails. The make 4 hour trips on a regular basis so we value are ride. These tires are very quite at all speeds, you will love the lack of road noise from these tires. The smoothness of the ride is incredible. I read a few reviews where people said they felt every bump in the road, well they are either extra sensitive or have to much air in the tire. If you have ever driven on a Texas country road then you know theres plenty of bumps and I don't feel what I see when I'm driving. Its a very comfortable ride. Now for the braking, I haven't had to test the sudden braking distance and thankful I haven't, but based on everything else I trust this tire will be there. The only way I know to say it is, out of they other tires I have owned these are sport luxury. For the everyday highway driver you couldn't ask for more out of a tire then the long trail t/a tour.

Comments about Long Trail T/A Tour:

On super bowl Sunday I was leaving work, and driving up a major highway to my home. I was in the left lane going faster then I should have.80. I felt my Nissan Pathfinder starting to sway. I checked the tire pressure on my dash computer. One of the tires read zero!!! I pulled to the breakdown lane, and out of harms way. The tire was still in tact, and so was I!!!! Come to find out, there was a nail in my side wall. The tire was plugged and usable even after riding on it flat at 80. One can only wonder, if I had cheap tires, what could have happened.
