I don't understand the bad reviews on here. These tires came with my Xterra and I am replacing them now at 60,000 miles but they have been awesome. I am a white water kayaker and take them on rough roads, long highway trips, and live in New England with snow to boot and no concerns. I'm not understanding the negative reviews on here. The bonus that I like on these tires is the outlined race lettering ..not solid white ..which is way classier ..why can't they make all of their tires with that option? I like the sounds of the all terrain t/a K0 or K02 a little better ..but it has the solid white lettering only and I've done well with these Rugged ones ..so why change a good thing :)

                    Comments about Rugged Terrain T/A:

I have ran these tires on my midsized SUV for approx. 1 year now. I've got about 10k miles on them and they still look brand new. I have them balanced and rotated at every oil change and they have been great for me. They are a little noisy at certain speeds and have become a little more so with miles but I knew and expected this going in. Its not overpowering at all but just enough to remind you the tires are pretty aggressive. These handle great dry/wet. Very light snow can be a bit slippery due to its lack of siping but as the snow gets deeper these are a beast.

                          Comments about Rugged Terrain T/A:

These tires have been the worst I have ever had. Less than a year after I bought the full set I had slow leaking in one. They said it was coming through the side walls and not from a puncture. The tire was replaced free but with the Long Trail which isn't an all terrain tire. Less than a year after that (not even 24 months) I had a second tire do the same. This time I had to shell out $$ (not entirely full price) to get another Long Trail replacement (vs rugged terrain) and now about 2.5 years after original purchase the other two that haven't gone flat, one is completely bare and the other is about three months behind. Mind you I get them rotated and balanced EVERY 3-6k miles when I get my oil changed. I will never purchase a BF Goodrich tire again. EVER
