Got 38K miles out of these

Comments about Long Trail T/A Tour:

Original review from about a year ago:
I bought these tires for my Honda Pilot since I've had good experience with the Rugged Trail T/A tires on my Toyota Tacoma truck. These Long Trail T/A Tour tires have a higher treadwear rating (580 versus 400 from the same manufacturer) than the Rugged Trail T/A tires (which I'm estimating I'll get 40000 miles out of) so I expected to get closer to 50000 miles out of the Long Trail T/A Tour tires. Sadly I'm at 32000 miles on these tires and they are getting close to the 2/32nd wear indicator bar on all four tires. If I get another 8000 miles out of these tires I'll be lucky.

These tires have worked out well for dry handling conditions and perform decently on wet roads so that is why I'm giving them a 3 star rating. If this review was based solely on treadwear I would give 1 star.

              Update:
These tires lasted 38K miles before they wore down to the wear bars (even wear across all four tires). I will give BF Goodrich credit that they stood behind their product and approved the warranty claim for a fair amount. I will also give them kudos that the credit did not have to be applied to a new set of these same Long Trail T/A Tour tires (I was given the opportunity to apply it towards any BFG or Michelin tire). Since I'll never buy a set of these Long Trail T/A tires again I decided to take my chances with Michelin LTX.

Comments about Long Trail T/A Tour:

The Long Trail TA tires have been just perfect for my 2002 Tahoe. The ride is smooth and quiet on the street, which is where 99% of my driving takes place. They are very attractive, with outline white letters, and a nice clean and smooth sidewall. Very easy to clean up, and look great.

(So many other brands have ugly serrated and ribbed sidewall highlights that just collect dirt and are hard to clean.)

Comments about Long Trail T/A Tour:

I have been buying these tires for years and never had a problem. Great wear and performance. The last set I purchased are already down to the wear indicators at only 18,000 miles with cupping and uneven wear patterns. When I went back to where I purchased them they said it was alignment. Since I work with alignment equipment I have multiple records showing that my vehicle is within alignment specs. I am very dissappointed in these and unless something is done you've lost a customer.
