              Comments about Mud-Terrain T/A KM2:

The lug pattern on the KM2's is very aggressive and handles itself well in dirt or mud while it still offers great traction on the highway. The downside is that the tires cup and wear unevenly requiring rotation at least every 3,000 miles. If not the truck shakes violently at speeds between 65-75 mph. My biggest complaint about these tires is that there are circumferential stress cracks in the sidewall on three out of four, just above the bead where the tire meets the rim. This is INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS! The tires were purchased from Discount Tire in Orlando, FL and are less than two years old. Discount Tire will NOT replace them since tire certification protection wasn't purchased. I feel that this is clearly a manufacturers defect and they should be replaced. The truck is lifted 9" and a little top heavy so if I experience a blow out from a sidewall separation (due to the cracking) at a high speed, a vehicle rollover is a very real possibility. I would never own another set of these tires and certainly hope that nothing happens to me or my family while riding on them.

                    Comments about Mud-Terrain T/A KM2:

Thank god I wasn't pulling a load at 80mph. The belts just seperated one day while sitting in the driveway. The first one was quite visible as the entire top of the tire came apart and went flat.(belts just seperated) The second tire I didn't notice until I put the spare on and started driving to the tire store. It had ballooned and was just short of coming apart. The tires have less than 15K on them and they are coming apart. Problem is how to get the tire dealer to provide warranty on the other 2 tires since they have not bulged YET.(I can't trust them now that 2 out 4 have let go) I wish I could post pictures.

                          Comments about Mud-Terrain T/A KM2:

Recently purchased 4 KM2 Mud Terrain tires 35X12.5. They were the replacement set for my BFG All Terrains, got 42,000 miles out of that set on my 2004 1500 Dodge Ram, also have an 83 Jeep CJ-5 running 32X11.5 BFG All Terrains. So got some experience with BFG products. The KM2'S were installed on a Thursday and Saterday my 16 year old and I headed out with our ATV and Dirt Bike loaded on a trailer with caming gear and all the essensials for a weekend of dirt riding. Bad rain headed out at 5:00 am in a driving rain, wipers on high about 50 miles into our journey rain stopped, tires were flawless on asphault under these conditions. Now the real test Checked in at ATV park, driving through very wet red clay mud loaded down with trailer, bikes, caming gear ect. in 4WD High, no slip or slide and this was some thick stuff after an all night monsoon! I will never buy anything but BFG tires ever again. Keep up the outstanding work!!! Thank You
