        Only Tires I Buy

Comments about Long Trail T/A Tour:

I just bought my second set of BF Goodrich Long Trail tires. My 2004 pickup came with these tires when I bought it new. I put 65,000 miles on the original set. When it was time to buy new ones I did not hesitate to buy the BF Goodrich Long Trail tires again. I put almost 80,000 miles on that set. So I need tires for a third time on this truck and as you already guessed, I bought the BF Goodrich Long Trails again. I just hope my truck will last as long as this set of tires. Besides one flat on the original set I have never had a problem. A broken bottle was to blame for the one flat. I highly recommend these tires.

              VERY NOISY TIRES

Comments about Long Trail T/A Tour:

Tires have 48,000 miles on them and they have been very noise for the past 12,000 and started to notice noise at 30,000 miles. The tires have been rotated every 7,000 miles and the car (2007 Suzuki XL-7) has had regular alignments but the tires have worn unevenly. The tires are rated as 60,000 mile and I may be able to actually get 60,000 on them but I am replacing them at 50,000 because of the noise. I have a family member that had these tires on their Chevy Trailblazer and they also had the noise issue at 25,000 mile. I would not purchase this tire.

I bought these tires in 3/2007 for my 2002 F150 after breaking two belts on previous tires. Now after 7 years and over 60,000 miles I still have good wear surface on them (penny goes to Linclon's forehead) At first didn't drive lots of miles every year but did haul some very heavy loads. Never got over 30,000 on any tire before this so was pleasantly surprised. My mechanic says I have at least a year left but I'll probably replace them this fall before winter. Oh started in Michigan then Nevada now Oregon so they've done some travelling.
