Comments about Radial Long Trail T/A:

Came stock on 2010 Nissan frontier 4x4, 5 and a half years and tires completely dry rotted and split between treads, about 45k now, will replace with another set, have never gotten 5 years out of any tire on any vehicle before....3 or 4 years is average tire life in new England, even with constant rotations....minus all the pothole blowouts...Good tire at above average price, had Michelins on other vehicles that dry rotted after 3 0r 4 years also, must just be the harsh weather and salt here.....

33k miles in a 2007 FJ Cruiser and they have to be replaced. Tread is at 5/32", 4/32", 4/32", and 3/32" and all tires show dry rot. Average fuel efficiency went down during the lifetime of these tires.

Comments about Radial Long Trail T/A:

I have always been a fan of BF Goodrich All Terrains minus the price is higher than I like. These tires were on my vehicle when I bought it and in less than 36K miles they began to dry rot which is unacceptable. Tread wear was higher than I expected as well even though I rotated them as required. I doubt that I would have made it past 40k miles before the tread got too low. Thankfully I have been deployed which has given me the opportunity to purchase new tires once I get back, though I been debating if BF Goodrich will be my choice once again. I expected more and had I known that these tires would not last as long I would have made the dealership change the tires.

I don't agree with the two star being average as that would be generous but I don't believe that a 1 star is warranted. They did work well out in the fields of soft sand while hunting.
