        Pretty good medium AT tire

              Comments about Rugged Terrain T/A:

These tires are a pretty good medium/semi-aggressive tire. They have been great on my Sierra 1500 4wd. They do good in the snow and on pavement, also provide good traction on less then perfect dirt surfaces.

If you bought semi-aggressive tires and expect pure quietness, then it's your mistake not the tires. These are relatively quiet tires compared to my old GY Duratracs.

They don't have a sway feeling on the highway which is good. I assume gas milage for these could be better, but you don't buy a rugged tire for gas milage in the first place.

                    Comments about Rugged Terrain T/A:

I bought these to replace the factory tires on my '11 F250 FX4. These tires grab significantly better off road than my old tires did. I find myself getting out of tough spots using just the locking rear that would have required going into 4WD with my old tires. I've had BFG A/Ts on all of my previous trucks and I have to say the rugged terrain is more comfortable on the hwy and less likely to slip on pavement. I have put about 10,000 miles on them and they still look brand new. I will be sticking with the rugged terrains from now on.

                          Comments about Rugged Terrain T/A:

dealer convinced me to get these as a replacement over the tires i wanted. first 5000 miles were good then i started to notice a vibration. i had them rotated and re-balanced the vibration went away for a short time and came back a few thousand miles later had them re-balanced again and they still vibrated brought the truck to a mechanic to see if it was something else, no problems found put a different set of tires and wheels on it and no vibration. one of the tires leaks around the bead i have had it unmounted and cleaned, bead sealer put in, even moved it to a different rim it still leaks from the bead. i have put 30000 miles on them and 3 tires have 2/32 tread left the only one that still has tread is the one that doesn't hold air. this is my work truck and towing a trailer is terrible with the vibration. i rotate my tires every 5000 miles these are the only tires i've ever had to re-balance every rotation. i could not in good faith recommend these tires to anyone that relies on their truck to make a living.
