              Comments about Mud-Terrain T/A KM2:

Until BFG replaces the KM2, the KM2 is my tire. I just installed my second set of 255/85R16s on my 1991 Range Rover Hunter. I did not have a single problem with my first set. I simply wore them out. No side wall splits, no flats, no blow outs. People always try and skimp on tires. I have no idea why. They have to spend their free time changing flats, going to the tire store, waiting in line or waiting for a tire to come in to stock. Spend the money on a good set of tires and don't worry about anything other than routing tire pressure checks and balancing.

                    Comments about Mud-Terrain T/A KM2:

I am very perplexed by these tires. They came standard on my 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Ive rotated every 3k and they only have 13k total miles on them yet the tread has worn off of 2 of them in chunks. The 2 tires look like waves in the ocean. The car is in perfect alignment and I only drive about 6-10 miles a day ( more on weekends ). Ive gone to every service and rotated on my own in between. Took them to my local tire guy and he said he had never seen chunking like that in all his years of service. Called BF Corp HQ to open warranty claim and they sent me for an inspection. Just went today and they are telling me they will give me a "discount" on 2 new tires. They refuse to assist me with a tire that is clearly defective and could possibly be dangerous. I am extremely disappointed in not only the tires, but the total lack of customer service and/or their acceptance of this problem. This is clearly not normal. At this point I would advise against these tires and this brand due to the poor poor customer service Ive gotten.

                          Comments about Mud-Terrain T/A KM2:

The lug pattern on the KM2's is very aggressive and handles itself well in dirt or mud while it still offers great traction on the highway. The downside is that the tires cup and wear unevenly requiring rotation at least every 3,000 miles. If not the truck shakes violently at speeds between 65-75 mph. My biggest complaint about these tires is that there are circumferential stress cracks in the sidewall on three out of four, just above the bead where the tire meets the rim. This is INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS! The tires were purchased from Discount Tire in Orlando, FL and are less than two years old. Discount Tire will NOT replace them since tire certification protection wasn't purchased. I feel that this is clearly a manufacturers defect and they should be replaced. The truck is lifted 9" and a little top heavy so if I experience a blow out from a sidewall separation (due to the cracking) at a high speed, a vehicle rollover is a very real possibility. I would never own another set of these tires and certainly hope that nothing happens to me or my family while riding on them.
