I have used Michelin MXV4 on my 1982 Volvo GLT which has no winters since new and I never got the mileage out of them because the rubber would disintergrate with age prematurally and the same happened with Pirelli PR6s tires.
I then thought... I might be stepping down in the tire world.... and decided to try the B.F.Gooderich g-force Super Sport tires and I have to give B.F.Gooderich a thumbs up!
They stand up to ultra violet light excellent....the ride is just as good as the MXV4s and the handling is like the Pirelli PR6 maybe even a bit better.
They stay black on the sidewalls a long time reducing substantially the amount of sidewall black dressing that most people use on there tires.
If you drive at normal / spirited highway speeds like I do with the odd fast cornering .......and keep the tires inflated at 35PSI consistently.... along with consistent front end alignments...you will get above average to perfect performance with these tires and should have no complaints.
I have about 45000kms on these tires at the moment and I would definately buy these tires again!

They only lasted 14,000 miles. I will not buy these again.

These tires wore below the wear bar after only 33,000 miles. My fuel mileage dropped > 5%.
Handling and winter driving is above average.
These tires are also very noisey.
