              Comments about g-Force Sport COMP-2:

"Acquired (4) to replace an all-season Goodyear RSA on an '09 G8 GT RWD. Markedly better cornering on any surface at high speed except gravel or snow of course. The Comp-2 I'm sure is capable on a track but for me superb on dry city streets or ramp cornering, braking. Excels on wet pavement. Comp-2 has a UTQG rating of 340 AA A which is higher than the norm in this class. In independent testing ranked higher than Potenza, Firehawk and Yoko.
Keep the Winters for November-April and get these for Summer. I doubt you'll be disappointed."

                    Comments about g-Force Sport COMP-2:

Mounted these on 2004 Mustang (Convertible) replacing my winter studded tires.

First thing I noticed was major road/tire noise. This car had structs replaced (all four wheels) and an alignment six months ago. So I had an alignment performed. Minor adjustment, they did not find any other issues. Still the noise.

Handling is great. I live in the mountains and find them a joy to drive on.

Gas mileage off just a bit.

I would recommend them with the caveat that the noise may not be acceptable in quiet running cars.

This tire replaced my OEM Goodyear Eagle RS-A's from those to these tires is like night and day in many aspects.

Ride: Ford Flex 2010 Limited 255/45R20

Traction(Dry): 10/10 so much so that the steering is somewhat heavier at speeds 65mph it is crisp and precise. It made my car want to go faster.

Fuel Efficiency: I noticed a consistent decrease of about -1.5mpg on overall driving. (Could be due to it's willingness to stick to the ground when accelerating)

Braking: Another 10/10. I noticed a decrease in distance to my desired distance. Very "on-point".

Comfort: 7/10. I now could feel bumps around my street that I could feel before. Not really that desirable.

Road Noise: This is why I would NOT purchase these tires, nor recommend these to anyone. Coming from the Goodyear Eagle RS-A's which were very quiet tires, i went to a consistently growling set of tires. So much so that I had to turn my Speed Compensatory Volume on the radio to max and even that is not enough. I can't wait for these to go out so I can replace them with quieter ones.
