Linear flex zones allow the tire to conform and grab obstacles in aired-down driving.
    • Leave the tow rig at home
Drive to the trails with better road manners and less noise than you’d expect in an unstoppable off-road tire.

Best tire the New Beetle has ever had

              Comments about Mud-Terrain T/A KM2:

I have a set of these in 215/75r15 on my wife's 98 New Beetle TDI and use them to commute to work and get to our favorite camping spots. These are far superior to the General Grabber AT2 tires we had installed before both on the road and off. They are not nearly as noisy as I had expected, and have exceptional pavement grip considering the tread design. Where these tires really shine is in the dirt though. This little New Beetle can do some silly stuff now that it's got proper tires. We are taking this car places I never thought it would go. We will be driving it to Alaska soon, and this tire gives me a confidence I wouldn't have with any other. I will be buying these again!

These came stock on my 2012 Rubicon. They impress me everywhere I go. They are great on Moab rock, crawling. They're super in deep, deep sand dunes, taken down to 15 psi, and even 5 psi when in snow several feet deep. In deep snow WAY back in the woods, they stayed mounted on the rims at 5 psi and got us out when I thought for sure we'd have to leave it. In mud, they are superb. What's most surprising is on the street they are great too. Excellent turning, braking, and quiet. I have 37,000 miles and expect another 10,000. Will absolutely buy again.

Highly overrated tire. Very poor traction in mud. Did not clean out, did not dig, had no lateral traction, and where basically worthless at the sight of water. Poor wet, snowy, and icey road performance. I wanted them gone before they hit 3/4 tread and at 1/2 tread they where removed. It was a waste of my money.

They did balance well and ride nice & smooth. One of the smoothest MT/offroad tires Ive ran. The sacrifice in needed performance is not worth the ride though.
