        No tread life!!!

              I have only put 46,000 miles on these tires in 5 1/2 years. Rotated every oil change, balanced when needed and they are already down to 3/10 of an inch. So much for 70,000 miles.

              WARNING! BEWARE!

                    BAD TIRES, BAD BUSINESS, BUYERS BEWARE! These tires had less than 1000 miles on them when I bought the used car 5 months ago. I immediately noticed they needed to be balanced because they had a lot of vibration over 55 mph. It did not help. I had them rebalanced 4 times in 15,000 miles. Yesterday I took them back in (16,000 miles total wear) and I had one with the tread dangerously separating from the tire. The other three were in the initial stages of separation with visible cracks on the tire. The tire shop called the manufacture and they refused to give me ANY credit for the bad tires. Based on my experience, I would NOT recommend these tires or even this manufacturer to anyone, period!

                    Merchant response: Your feedback pertaining to the BFGoodrich Traction T/A is appreciated. We understand the tires did not meet your expectations. For a 2004 Hyundai XG350 we would recommend an H-speed rated tire meeting the vehicle manufacturer's specifications to provide the opportunity for better performance and ride comfort.

                    Better Than My Michelins

                          My 02 Chrysler has never had anything on it but Michelins 'til 2yrs ago. In snow, I could not get up this hill to get out of my street for nothing. I ended up with a set of BFG Tractions and have had no problem getting in and out of my street yet - even in snow & ice. I was skeptical at first - I always kept Michelins on my cars but I have to say - I learned something. I am buying a new set of BFG's when I go to replace these.

When a customer requests a replacement tire with a lower speed rating than the original equipment tire, you must clearly communicate to him or her that the handling of the vehicle may be different, and that its maximum speed capability is limited to that of the lowest speed-rated tire on the vehicle. Exceeding the lawful speed limit is neither recommended nor endorsed.

                          For high-speed driving, additional inflation pressure and possibly reduced tire loading and/or upsizing is required. In the absence of specific recommendations by the vehicle manufacturer, use the following guidelines based on those in the European Tyre and Rim Technical Organization Standards Manual.

                          For speeds over 160km/h (100 mph), load and inflation must be adjusted according to the table below.

On the tire placard located on the driver's door jamb <br>2. In your owners manual<br>3. On glove compartment door<br> 4.                           • You can determine your tire type by looking at the tire's designation on the sidewall of your tire. The following describes the differences between the tire type designations:<br><br> P-Metric: A uniform designation of tire sizes in metric measurements. A typical P-Metric tire is P205/70R14 93S. <br><br>European Metric: This system was a conversion of the numeric system from inches to millimeters. The aspect ratio appears in the size designation in most cases where it is other than 82. A typical European Metric tire is 185/70R14 88S <br><br>Light Truck-Metric: This system is used for light truck tires, and it mirrors the P-Metric system used for passenger tires. A typical Light Truck-Metric tire is LT245/75R16 120R. <br><br>Light Trucl High Flotation: This type is for light truck tires with lower sidewalls and wider treads that yield better traction on surfaces such as sand and soft soil found in watery, off-road situations. A typical tire is 31X10.50R15 LT LRC
