Ratings & Reviews

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rugged terrain T/A I bought a set of 4 Rugged Terrain T/A 245/75/16 for my Tahoe at Walmart in April 2019 . Since then I have only put 2200 miles in the tires. The are great tires in the summer and perform well off road. However today was my first chance to try them on snow and ice. 20 Montana morning with lots of snow and ice in the roads, I must say the tires performed horrible. Rarely in the past have I had to use 4x4 with the Tahoe in town but today I had to just to get around and stopping was no better. I don't know if the tires are too stiff or not enough sipong in the tread. Would not recommend for cold weather. Jim

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very impressed i bought these to replace my Goodyear wranglers. only 25,000 miles on them. were starting to dry riot (cracking). Radial pull they called it. Never were right. As soon as i drove off the lot i could tell the difference. No more pulling to the left like my other tires were doing. And yes, had alignments, radial pull they called it. warrenty $40 off one tire. Told them to forget it. Got these instead! Better ride, smoother and more sure turning. Had the T\A on my Camaro years ago. They were a very good tire even back then. I know these are truck tires. I am hoping i will be just a happy with them. So far very pleased. My only complaint is with Walmart. 45 PSI in my tires. I always check other peoples work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value. Had a ton of snow and ice this winter and it ran great on both. Run BFG A/T's on my 2wd F-150. These T/A's are not as good as the A/T's in the snow in 2wd, but I have the T/A 's on my 4wd Tahoe. For the money I would say the T/A is a better value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressive tire for the price! I’ve had these tires about 4 months now & I’ve probably put 3-4K miles on them. I gotta say I’m very impressed so far. Quiet, grip, they look really great, & most of all they impressed me on wet/icy roads. They grip extremely well on rainy days. Perform just as good as higher end tires. Off-road performance they did very well. I live where there is clay mud & they clean theirseves very well. Will be buying another set when these wear out. Will update on how many miles I get out of them. 2002 Silverado reg cab 5.3.
