Raised Brown Letters
Clearly BFG has changed how they are making these tires. Not a problem 30 years ago. Today with the new TAs, they turn brown just looking at them.

White letters won't stay white!!!!!
Bought a set of BFG T/As for my restored Mopar. Last set of these same tires I purchased in 1999, always stayed white. These new ones won't even stay white while being parked in a dark garage. At least the 2 on the front won't. The fronts are 215/70×14. The rears are 255/60×15 and they will stay white a lot longer than the fronts. Very disappointed in the looks of these white letters. Love the tread pattern and the ride, but hate the brown letters. These new ones don't even have 500 miles on them yet. What has been changed over the years ro cause the major problem??

BROWN LETTERS! I'M DONE WITH BFG!
Same as EVERYONE else! Letters turn brown on NEW tires. I've cleaned, scrubbed, used numerous cleaning products (including bleach products).... NOTHING WORKS!!! It's seems they are stained brown internally and will NOT clean up! I've used BFG tires on all my vehicles (and show vehicles) for decades and I managed to keep the white letters always bright and pure white! BFG's response to everyone is pure garbage.. just like thess tires. I lived with the belt separation issues for years.. but this is the final straw! Yeah I'm mad.. spent a lot of money on new tires and they look old dirty and brown. Beside the overprice... I'M DONE WITH BFG!!!
Raised Brown Letters?
I bought these T/As because I always had them on my cars when I was young. I bought a 71 Corvette, paid 40,000.00 for it. First thing was take the Goodyears off and put on the BFGs. Scrub the letters all you want, use any cleaner out there and within 48 hours, just sitting in the garage they turn brown. BFG will not do a thing period. Next spring they are coming off and Cooper Cobras are going on. Anyone want to buy a set cheap?
Browning white letters
White letters turned brown shortly after purchase. Tried cleaning with various products, will not come to white again. Car stays in garage and goes into trailer for shows. Lately have not gone anywhere with it, too embarrassed. Looking for another tire brand.
Not happy at all.
Have had t/a's on my Nova for 14 years now. Replaced my first set 3 years ago and really are not happy with the light brown/tan letters on the tires. My first set were bright white. Not a good looking tire at all. Will buy something else next time.

Letters are brown - BROWN
As everyone else here - raised whites are brown - tried everything - EVERYTHING, poor quality control - bad re-designed in the manufacturing process and even worse poor customer service. looking for a new raised white performance tires

THE WHITE LETTERING TURNED BROWN
I Bought these BFG’s a Day Ago and i am Very Disappointed at BFGoodrich to see the White Lettering Turn Brown im Still Using BFG Radial T/A But Got Another One Without the White Letters!

White Letters turning BROWN
I have always had BF Goodrich Radial T/A raised white letter tires on my Fox body Mustangs over a 30 year period. Just bought new tires within the last 2 years. And the car is always kept in the garage. They still have the "nubs" on them so the problem is obviously BF Goodrich! What are they going to do with so many unhappy buyers. I can't get mine WHITE like they should be and quite frankly for the amount of money I spent, they should be BRIGHT WHITE! I think they need to replace them!
