Ratings & Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Traction GALORE! Bought these two weeks ago, and now my pony handles better. Buy it, you won't regret it. Also, for the price, I have nothing to complain about. My pony used to spin first, and half of second, then chirp third. Now it spins waaaaay less in first, chirps second barely and bites in third! Knocked 3/10 of a second off my 1/4 mile...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible wear!!! EXTREMELY DISAPOINTED!!! I have been a fan and customer of BFG for the last 30+ years. I have 12,000 miles on a set of GForce Comp 2's & they are completely shot. And to add insult to injury, the company I purchased them from is doing very little to stand behind them as well. Don't think I'll be making that mistake again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Year 3 driving on these tires. After researching and selecting these tires, I was pleased with the performance. They are mounted on a small Mitsubishi Eclipse and I commuted 40 miles a day round trip to work, and some weekend trips. I work at a car dealership where my car is serviced regularly with maintenance and tire rotations. I can't complain about the performance, but I have only 25000 miles on these tires that came with a 45,000 mi. tread warranty. They are all evenly worn out. Not the mileage I expected.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible life 6,xxx miles! I must have gotten a bad set because these only made 6,xxx miles on a 2016 Dodge Charger R/T driven by my wife. They were louder than the factory Firestones, but may have had a little better feel and traction. Those two items don't make up for the increased noise and definitely don't come close to the terrible life. I can't stress how disappointed I am in the lifeife of these tires. I purchased from Discount Tire online and there is no recourse regarding any pro rated refund based on mileage. This tire had reviews that show people getting much better mileage so I just don't get it. I will not buy this tire again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tire for all weather conditions if you have Ive been through 4 sets of tires on my SRT 300 in 50k miles these have lasted longer and been great in snow and rain. Great traction also will buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great performance, feel, and look I have ran the Comp-2 on numerous different cars, on the street and open track days. Hands down this is the best mix of street/open track day tire for the $. Consistent feel, braking, and feedback.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Traction I picked up a new set of g-Force Sport Comp-2 245/50 R16 for my daily driver 1987 Trans Am WS6 in November 2018. I have put 10,000 miles on them so far and I am very happy with the performance of the tires in all weather conditions here in the Houston, TX area. I like everything about them. Great handling. Aggressive design. Super traction. I will buy these again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from extremely noisy tires have 14,000 miles on these tires. at 60 mph they are so loud you can't even hear someone talking to you inside my Cadillac XTS. have rotated every 4000 miles which can only be done on same side. still 50% tread left. not to bad for wear but they are louder than a semi passing you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Street and Strip Tires I bought these tires a year ago and I am hooked on them! Great traction all the time. Also work well at the drag strip!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good handling I got these tires a few days ago . They make my already great handling 2014 dodge charger s x t plus corner like a exotic sports car . I have the performance suspension on my car and the tires just add to the fun of driving this amazing car . I am really happy with them so far . As far as ride and noise they are ok . But remember with high performance tires this is par for the course . Also with special suspension you lose that smooth ride also . If you want a butter smooth ride get a older Lincoln . But if you want a car to handle like a Porsche get these tires . Oh by the way Michelin makes these tires as that bought out by Goodrich hears ago . Can't just go wrong in my opinion .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Grips and grips people don't have sense. these tires are marketed as sports car tires which means it sacrifices some longevity for max grip and handling. sport car tires are also louder, because most have more engine sound and/or exhaust louder than a basic sedan car, so R&D to make it quieter isn't a concern based on the lower PRICE!!!. if you want a more refined version of these tires, buy the bigger brother Michelin pilot super sport or sport cup, but the price will make you think twice. (my bill was $990 vs $1400). people putting these on a sedan car and complain about noise makes me scratch my head. also don't expect it to last 50k miles like a basic tire, especially since you can’t rotate these. the price is 25% - 40% less than the comparable Michelin that lasts the same milage. great tire all around. lasted 31k miles on my Nissan Z. I noticed uneven wear, but only when they were all well below the wear bars so I checked my service manual and my car has camber on all wheels standard from the manufacturer.(people won’t check their car specs but blame tire maker everytime. Same people neglect psi. tpms on comes on 25% less i.e 36psi is different from 29psi but light won't come on. you're already wearing it out) get an alignment also every 40k miles regardless of anything! Care for your car, it makes you money by taking you to work!! , fyi right tires get more wear in the USA because of all the left hand turns, just as motorcycle tires do (thats another expense I have to pay for this month ouch hahah). another sport comp-2 set are going on later today.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Improved handling I replaced PIrelli P Zero summer tire that came on my 2016 Dodge Challenger - SRT 392 and the car handling performance and characteristics have drastically improved Unlike other reviews I read during doing my research they are relatively quiet and have a more cushioned ride but are tighter and more controlled in the corners And they have a great aggressive look that suits the car

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great performance and appearance Wife's Hyundai Genesis came with a set of these tires and they performed so well we purchase another set when they wore out. Quieter than most reviews would let on and the stick to the road like glue.
Date published: 2018-09-23
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Treadwear Performance According to the BF Goodrich website these tires have a warranty for treadwear of 50K but after around 18,000 miles there is only 3/32 tread left. The front tires have 8/32 remaining. Granted these tires are rear tires on a RWD car but its not like I peel out at stop signs, they should last longer. The other negative is they are directional mounted tires and are a different size than the front tires which makes it tough to rotate since you cant move the back to the front and vise versa. You have to unmount the tires from the rims and install them on the opposite rim. I'll never make that mistake again.
Date published: 2018-09-03
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good grip and decent treadlife for the price point I've worn out several sets of these on a heavy, powerful car - Chrysler 300C SRT8 - so this isn't a "I just put these on my car and they're (insert positive or negative adjective)" type of reviews. They have good dry traction, they are a bit loud but not obnoxious, and they lasted about as long as you might expect. I got nearly 24K out of them without rotating at all. For example my size was 255/45/20 which runs under $200/ea out the door most places with mount/balance/taxes, that's hard to beat. Dunno what others are complaining about on the treadlife! It's a performance tire. I'll keep buying them. :) Second pic in the review are the rears at 24K miles.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from lasted about 25k miles well got these tires all 4 march of 2017 raced my car at the drag strip burnt thru the rear tires in 4 months and never rotated the fronts they lasted maby a good 25k mile
Date published: 2018-07-10
Rated 1 out of 5 by from great tires, terrible wear. Great tires for rain and snow but wore out after only 14,000 miles with regular rotation and normal driving and would still have to pay almost full price with the wear out warranty. I only got a third of the mileage out of these tires and the warranty will only cover less than $200.00 of the price of new tires.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Summer Tire I put of set of 195/50R15 on my NB1 Miata and I love them. Surprisingly quieter than I expected when compared to the Hankooks I took off the car. They also have way more grip than my old tires did, which is what really matters! After a couple thousand miles they seem to be holding up pretty well and I have been pushing them hard going through fun canyon roads. Thanks for making a great tire and selling it at a good price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Who knew! For all the years I have been driving, I assumed that tires are tires - just that. With these tires g-force Sport comp 2, there is a notable difference in driving. These tires can make a rather conservative car wake up. As soon as I drove from the garage, the difference was obvious: amazing road grip and maneuverability. Bravo!
Date published: 2018-06-04
Rated 5 out of 5 by from I LOVE These Tires! These tires bring a huge grin to my face every year when I change over from my winter tires to these summer high-performance tires! I can't believe the small handful of reviews that give them a poor rating. In my experience, they offer great grip and wonderful control. They inspire confidence! Dry performance is awesome, and wet performance is very good, in my opinion. (Wet is wet. Some people seem to expect miracles... Back things down a notch or two!) In exchange for this performance, a few things suffer. They're not whisper quiet. Ride quality is a bit harsher (but I consider this *communication*!). Tread life is so-so. They wander a bit when driving in a straight line. And fuel economy suffers a bit. But these are all things that I find quite acceptable in return for the number of *smiles* I get! I'm getting exactly what I expect. I've been through a few sets now and I happily continue to buy these tires again and again. I LOVE 'em!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Noisy Tire that Changes Direction Well I purchased a 245/40-18 model of this tire to mount on a Subaru WRX STI. After a few hundred miles, it's hard to comment on wear, but there are two more notable bits of feedback concerning the tire: 1) these are NOISY tires. It sounds like I'm running snow/mud tires or driving on grooved pavement. It can be annoying at times; 2) the sidewall construction of this tire permit it to change direction quite well. Steering is sharp and responsive, without a lot of slop. Dry and wet traction are above average. They're a nice chunky looking tire, whose tread to sidewall juncture is quite square. Makes for a meatier looking tire even in a 245. Be mindful though, if you're running an aggressive setup, that extra corner meat may rub more than tires that are bit more rounded off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from even with 450 HP these things stick like glue I have a new set of these in the factory size of 275 40 17 on a 2004 Mustang SVT Cobra. For the unfamiliar, this is a factory supercharged hot rod. I see reviews here of folks unhappy because of no tread wear warranty, or wearing out in not-so-many miles. It's a performance tire folks. Which means the rubber is soft and sticky. I have been amazed at how little "chirp" I get when shifting hard from first to second in a "spirited" fashion. The tires are a little noisy, and I don't expect them to last a long time, but they do exactly what they are supposed to do on this car.
Date published: 2017-09-26
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Overall Tire Ever !!! I am now shopping for my second set. These are the best tires I have ever purchased. Traveling salesman, driving over 500 miles per week. I have over 80,000 miles on my current set. I have 160,000 miles on my car, and these BFG's out lasted three sets of the other guys rubber. I would, and do, recommend these for everyone one !
Date published: 2017-08-09
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Happy with my purchase A definite upgrade to the stock Dunlap tires that came on the car. Steering is crisp and light...noise is less, but still noticeable. Drove about 100 miles so far and I can't wait to drive to work Monday.
Date published: 2017-04-22
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great High performance Tire Great tire, excellent on DRY and above average on WET. The handling is superb. A top tire in its category. The only think I don't like is that the Tire is noisy. A great tire on highway and it gives confidence for steering and cornering. Great job Bf Goodrich!! I think is just below Michelin Pilot Super Sport.
Date published: 2017-03-30
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Mediocre The ride and noise level of this particular tire is well below average. Stability is average. Would not ever buy this brand again. To top it all off, they ripped me off for a promised rebate which would be bad enough but the tires are bad.
Date published: 2017-01-30
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent tire! Excellent tire. I bought these for my Subaru Crosstrek and I tow a Sea Doo Spark during the summer to the lake with them and the grip is phenomenal! These tires out perform my cars capabilities and I really don't have to worry about breaking or turning with a load on the back. They stick to the road in dry or wet conditions. Their also fun to have on when we get a touch of snow (I know their not intended for that) but they make my AWD Crosstrek way more fun to drive in the snow (Subaru's AWD is excellent in itself, especially when these tires are put on it) and also note, don't use these tires around freezing conditions. Their stiffer in colder conditions and prefer hot sticky asphalt enviornments. I will buy these again for summer use and I do have a winter use only set too so not to ruin my Sport Comp-2s.
Date published: 2017-01-08
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Spirited 2009 Honda Fit Driving I got a set of these tires as I drive my car spirited. The grip is phenomenal in the dry and are well beyond the cars capabilities but leave a lot to be desired in the wet. I had consistent issues with understeer in the wet (to be expected with a FWD and heavy front bias), but no matter what I did, I could not remedy the issue other than driving extremely cautious in the wet. As expected with summer tires, grip becomes an issue in lower temperatures (45 and below). Braking with these tires feel very linear and consistent which gives me confidence. I consider these tires average at best but well worth the money they go for. I would only recommend to a friend if they were on a budget.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great tire so far I have put 3000 miles on my 1987 Corvette coupe with these g force tires between Billings, Montana and Missoula, Montana in both rain and dry. Because I live in Montana, I am concerned about winter as I know they are not rated for snow. How far can I push it?
Date published: 2016-10-24
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very soft and wear out even faster Cheap tire but very expensive as you will need to replace them often. Mine have less then 15k and are shot. I never abused them and my rears have no tread left.
