I have been very impressed by the quality of attention, service, and care I received at Plaza Tire both times I was their customer. Today, I decided to share my positive experience with them, which I have never done for any establishment before. That alone says a lot about the people who work there and manage the store as I am basically lazy about such matters. On both visits, the person assessing my tire needs recognized and commented on my veterans license plate. Both times, I received a veteran discount and an extra thing too. During both visits, their hoists were full and guys were running around attending to vehicles. They were packed, but found a way to squeeze me in and take care of my personal emergency. Today when I called to schedule an appointment the first opening was Tuesday. Shortly after scheduling, Dakota called me and offered me an immediate opening as there was a cancellation. How cool is that?! They were remarkably fast completing my oil change and tire service in under an hour. I brought stuff to do as I expected to be there all day but instead I took my project home with much left to finish. They were fun and had a good sense of humor. The staff tolerated my questions and even took time to explain aspects I didn’t understand; like the squiggles that pop up trying to alert me my car is trying to communicate it needs attention. I highly recommend Carbondale Plaza Tire. I don’t think you will regret it.

Ian Lynett was very helpful. I sat and observed how he interacted with other customers. He went out of his way to explain how the tire sensors work to me, he even retrieved one and the monitor from the shop and demonstrated how it worked. When I have future tire needs, I will be working with him. Thank You Ian!

I brought my 3/4 tread tire there for a routine tire patch. I had a 1 inch razor blade in my tire. Nothing crazy to fix by no means. After minuets of talking back and forth about prices and options they offer I decide to wave the right to service and ask for my tire back. This is what they left me with. A massive hole in my tire that WAS NOT THERE prior to bringing them my tire. Absolutely ridiculous you tell me we don’t know how that happened and you have nothing in your shop that could’ve done that to my tire. Yet when I asked for my tire back I observed it was on the R.I.M machine (what removes the tire from Rim). That’s when I noticed they “attempted” to peel the tire off the rim and punched a whole through it. My only assumption of how this happened. Genuinely ridiculous thank you for ruining my tire.

Called around to get a quote on some new tires an sensors for my truck I talked to a smart, qualified, young lady that knew what she was talking about an she gave a great reasonable quote for all 4 tires with a protection plan an it beat all the competitors , called back a few hours later to make the appointment an a guy named Dakota quoted me the same tires for $200+ more without the protection plan that was way over priced. How is this possible !? ive been going to this place for years for all my car needs an never had a issue until this last time. This Dakota guy doesn't knows what he is talking about and he's trying to screw over customers. Definitely LOST my services until something gets fixed!

I needed a tire quickly to get my daughter to radiation. The person who served me was polite, caring and professional. I never expected that at a tire place. I am so thankful for him. Guess I’ll have ALL my car work done there👍🏼👍🏼
