Love my new tires!
I purchased the Advantage Control tires in December. The ride is very smooth and quiet. In January we had quite a bit of snow and my tires really gripped the road and especially my drive way which has a descent slope and can be very slick. I am very happy with my new tires. I also received great service at Belle tire from the manager Logan Young.

Great tires
I bought it and I instantly feel the difference driving my car !
Avoid BF Goodrich tires!!
I was recommended advantage control tires by BF Goodrich for my commuter car because of the higher mileage warranty. They told me this was the best option at Sam's club. To be very honest I have driven many miles on my 3 cars, I have never experienced crappy, extremely poor quality tires like these. They wore down completely with only 28000 miles the seams split open and thankfully they didn't blow out on the highway. They have been balanced, rotated, aligned and still crap. Sam's club would not help me with warranty at all. They did tell me to submit a review and that they reimburse some of the cost. Absolutely disappointing in Sam's club and these junk tires. I will never buy tires from BF Goodrich or Sam's club.

Bad Gas Mileage
I bought these tires because the original tires cost a little more than I could afford. The BF Goodrich tires were next best tires down from the original that dealer had in my size. I first thing that I notice were how quiet these tires are compared to the original. But down side is my gas mileage went down 2-3 mpg. And I'm losing air pressure, I don't know if its the tires or some other issue. As for traction, little less than the originals, needs more steering input and the rear wants to come around more. The tires feel heavier and looks taller. The ride is comparable to the originals.
Itsme, we recommend having the tires inspected by a BFGoodrich retailer, preferably the selling dealer, to determine if there is an air loss or if it is due to cooler temps. We suggest that you call us at 866-866-6605 from the dealer's store. Regarding the MPG, new tires having full tread depth will have more grip and rolling resistance in comparison to worn tires. As the new tires wear, the rolling resistance decreases. Over the life of the tires, all things being equal, the fuel efficiency should improve.

Needs work.
Main issue is that the sidewalls have cracked, almost looks slashed, along the circumference of the sidewall. We replaced the two fronts in September 2024 and now a year later, the last two tires have also developed really long cracks along the sidewall. Costco says it's only cosmetic and safe to drive.

GREAT TIRES
YOU CAN TELL THE DIFFERENCE IN WET/DRY WEATHER. THE MINUTE I DROVE THEM ON THE ROAD YOU COULD FEEL IT MORE GRIPPY. THEY'RE PRETTY QUIET AS WELL. HAPPY WITH PURCHASE.
1st Car tire from BFGoodrich
Bought these tires mostly because it was within budget and from a brand I've known in the off-road world. They seem to be better than the OEM firestones FR740? But they were Old to begin with (9yrs). So far dry performance is decent.. Good Control, Cornering traction, Response but a bit heavier to accelerate though just because they are wider than stock from 185/55r16 to these 205/50r16. We’ll see in the long run how they perform.. especially on the next winter season.. they seem to be siped well. They’re not directional or asymmetric but not sure if that matters
