g-Force COMP-2 A/S PLUS TIRE REVIEW

Have these on my 2005 wrx STI and they are great, over 5 years 20k miles on them still gripping!

Don’t Last

I put about 18k miles on mine before the centers are dangerously worn to be driving in winter and always made sure to inflate to manufacture specs but at very disappointed. Claiming all season is ridiculous since you can MAYBE get 1-2 safe winters out of these. After that I have been slipping around on a dusting of snow. Performance beyond that were good in the other seasons and cornered like a champ

Perform well

I've only put about 600 miles on these tires. Their wet and dry performance is quite good. The sidewall feels nice and stiff. The only drawback so far appears to be a noticeable drop in gas mileage.

Great tires

When I purchased these tires I wasn't sure what to expect as my 124 Spider has always been a fun ride with its original tires. With the g-Force tires it feels like it accelerates slightly slower, but it holds the corners like glue. It feels more stable in a straight line. Since I'm not drag racing I'll forgive the very slight acceleration difference for the enhanced handling in the curves and control. My car has always been setup as a convertible cruiser designed for the driving experience, an extension of the driver. These tires enable it.

Best for performance driving.

I had these 245/45 17 on my 93 mustang with cobra brake upgrade for four years. They perform better then the Faulkens I had, I drive very aggressively and in all weather conditions. Best performance tire for the money...

I bought a set of bfg gforce comp2 as 2 1/2 years ago , got 40000miles out of them and am trying to get another set now.

Corvette tire replacement from 255 to 245

I bought these not knowing how well they would work and was blown away by the traction! I had 255 /5016 that came original with the car but had to switch to 245s in the front due to flat and could not believe how impossible it is to find that size tire for under $500. I went down a size and already had two other tires on the front and found a deal on these ones and have never been happier for the price to performance ratio! These things are amazing! It's winter in Pennsylvania, and my tires don't spin in snow. That's pretty impressive considering the weight, shape, of the Corvette. They not only look good, but they actually perform well, which is why I gave them a five-star rating. They work great in the winter, which means to me that summer will not be an issue!

Really Enjoyed - Loss of 20% of Waranty Mileage

Purchased my 3rd set of these tires. First set was actually the g-Force Comp, 2nd sets were the g-Force Comp2 sets. Both sets lasted abut the same amount of mileage. Purchased this last set on 8/23/18 with an install mileage of 143,980, and today I ordered another set of tires. Current date is 4/15/23 with mileage of 180,567. I drive about 10,000 miles a year on my Mustang. So I drove 36,587 on these tires, about 80% of the 45k mileage warranty. They have been rotated every 6 months or 5k miles whichever came first. They are all at 1/32 or 0/32 left on the tire. They are great tires when they are new, the first thing they loose is the grip on wet weather. I would spin rear tires, when trying to go from a stop sign, until they grabbed the pavement. Not a fast acceleration, just normal. This happens about 20k miles into the tire. I over all like the tire, but after the 3rd set, and all only getting about 80% of the mileage warranty, I am going to try another brand. Those tires come in Wednesday.

Not a good experience

I have these tires on my 69 firebird. They have a terrible shake in my steering wheel. I have looked for the problem for several years. I finally had the dealer I purchased them from rotate the tires and the problem moved to the rear. After replacing everything that might effect my steering, the dealer now tells me he is sorry but the tires are to old for any kind of adjustment. I have the same tires on my corvette with no issues
