Performance Not What I Expected
After extensive research I purchased Rivals when RE71Rs were discontinued as a replacement. I purchased them to use for both Autocross and Track events on my C6. I just used them at an Autocross event for the first time and there's a pretty large difference. The Rivals don't have the same "bite" when making sharp turns, and really seem to lack the grip that the RE71Rs have. They also feel very vague when you're at the limit/edge. The car didn't respond as precisely when turning, in fact it pushed through a few turns instead of making them. There was little to no improvement when the tires warmed up. Unfortunately that means these will be replaced ASAP with something else that will hopefully be closer to the performance I'm looking for, these are no where close to the performance I'd expect in a competition tire.

The BEST Autocross Tire - IMO
I've run the BF Goodrich g-Force Rivals for years and I'm extremely satisfied with the 1.5 version on my '71 Camaro. My car sees highway driving as well as extensive autocross racing. I find the g-Force Rival S 1.5 last longer than the previous version and my car responds quicker on turn in with them. They heat up fast on track and have excellent grip in the dry. When it's wet you do need to be a little more cautious, but they're not too bad unless the water gets deep.

Like on rails
I’ve ran the previous and the current version and these are super sticky once warmed up. Great design too. These are not intended for the rain or cold weather so don’t expect them to do good in that.

Great in all weather
I purchased this set before we went to fordfest 2024 the weather was horrible rained everyday but luckily the water shedding of these tires were amazing we auto x in the rain, along with 3 s challenge and ended up taking home the grand champion win in vintage class

Grip for days!
The Rival S has all of the grip that you'd expect in a 200 treadwear tire, with excellent dry performance and very solid wet performance. I've been impressed with the progressivity, as it does provide great feedback but lets you know where the limit. HPDE "track day" events are awesome on this tire, as it's warmed up quickly in about a half of a lap and would be ideal for time trials if one were doing that kind of thing. I have not noticed any significant drop in performance in extended sessions or when hot out doing a track day in South Carolina in the middle of the summer. Overall I don't really have anything bad to say. Getting great even wear and am about 6 full days on track and and autocross into this set.

Inflation pressure increase must not exceed the maximum pressure branded on the tire sidewall. When a customer requests a replacement tire with a lower speed rating than the original equipment tire, you must clearly communicate to him or her that the handling of the vehicle may be different, and that its maximum speed capability is limited to that of the lowest speed-rated tire on the vehicle. Exceeding the lawful speed limit is neither recommended nor endorsed.
For high-speed driving, additional inflation pressure and possibly reduced tire loading and/or upsizing is required. In the absence of specific recommendations by the vehicle manufacturer, use the following guidelines based on those in the European Tyre and Rim Technical Organization Standards Manual.
For speeds over 160km/h (100 mph), load and inflation must be adjusted according to the table below.
