Review Summary
The tires provide excellent off-road traction on mud, rocks, and challenging terrain. They also handle well on the road, with some users noting they are quieter than other mud-terrain tires. However, there are concerns about uneven treadwear, with some needing replacement after 20,000 miles. The tires are also described as being on the pricier side.

Confidentiality Sure!
I am the author of the previously titled Not Sure Yet review. We’ll I am pleased to tell everyone that after the remaining 3 tires were swapped and road force balanced, I am riding on a dream. Unfortunately I guess I got a bad lot of tires that seem to of had high spots on them. What those replace balanced it’s so nice to ride on new BFG‘s that are smooth, look great, perform great ad for a mud tire qiet on the road.

2 Out of 4 Tires Bad
Bought 4 35x12.50R20 tires for my F250 a month ago and have 2k miles on them. The tread is breaking off two of them in multiple places. This is my first and last set

Great Look Horrible Ride
I just recently purchased a set of 37x13.50R17 KM3s, plus one for my spare and had them mounted on my first gen Raptor right before Xmas. After 2k miles on them, they have been balanced twice and still shake so bad I cannot drive them over 55mph without the truck feeling like a 3 ton massaging chair. I absolutely love how they look and they are amazing off road but running down the highway is unbearable and they have absolutely no traction on snow packed roads. Yesterday I just pulled in to a Discount Tire and ordered a new set of 37x12.50R17 KO2s to have installed on Tuesday since they didn't have them in stock. I will be posting these KM3s on Craigslist to try to recover the $1900 I am now out. I will continue to be loyal to BFG but I am very disappointed in the KM3s.

All around great tire
I have these ties on my '18 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel in 12.5x33R17. I've had these tires for a year now and put 32,000 miles on them. I've driven them on every type of terrain from hard-ball pavement (wet and dry), mud, snow, ice, gravel and everything in between. These tires have tackled everything beautifully and do especially well in mud and fresh snow (kind of a given). On ice they're great, but slide a bit. On the road they are more quiet than other mud terrains, but of course have some tire whine. The wear rate on these tires is outstanding! Like I said, I have 32k miles on these and they're still at about 50% tread left. Fuel mileage dropped significantly (26.8 mi/gal freeway down to 22.1 mi/gal) but that's too be expected. I would recommend these tires to anyone.
Awesome, tfabricator87! Thanks for taking the time to submit a review.

Unhappy results
I bought these tires 12/15/2020 and here I am today having to replace my bf goodrich Mudd terrain tires with only 18,221 miles. Rotated when needed but poor customer service at Disount tire in Sugar Land Texas

Great off-road, wore out fast
I bought 35x12.50r17 almost a year ago. Two tires wore out horribly and uneven. The other two are half tread or better. I installed all new suspension in shocks a month prior to installing my tires. Rotated every oil change. Was not pleased with the wear of those two tires. Have since sold them to try and make my money back for another set. I just ordered 39x13.50x17 for my truck now and they’re on indefinite back order. Really liked the look and performance, so I went with the KM3 again in a larger size. I hope these ones wear fine, and are put into production soon!

Get what you pay for
After reading some negative reviews it has prompted me to chime in. I have purchased 3 sets of mud terrains in the past 5 or so years and have found them to perform off road well. Balance issues. Never had a problem. In fact when brand new ride like a Cadillac. Rotate with oil change to maintain even wear. Two sets 33 12.50-15 on 03 Jeep Wrangler and they pull like a beast in mud. If yours aren’t push the pedal on the right harder. Last set on my 05 F-150 stock size also ride great. I compare to GoodYear Wrangler mud terrain which are no comparison to BFG. If you want white lettering you will need to find KM2 not available in KM3. Not sure if they are even making them anymore. I will continue to buy BFG Mudterrian as long as they don’t get covid and disappear.

Great tire for a good price
About 5000 miles since install. Good wet and dry traction. Tire noise is present, but is much less that expected. Driving at 70 and you have no problem carrying on a conversation. Plus, they just look AWESOME!

Great overall! But a bit pricey
I went from KO2s to these KM3s on a 2004 LR Discovery. 265/75-16. I have gone off road, city, and highway. Off road they are great! They shed mud much better than the ATs did I find. On road, well you hear them more, especially at city speeds but it's not bad. Highway they are not bad either. Slight humming but overall very pleased with how they behave on road too!
Thanks for sharing the love, Roby466!

Excellent Tire!
37×13.50s are amazing on and off road. I love the performance off road, my jeep grips better than many others. I run with vehicles that have lockers and still keep up unless it's a clearance issue. They are well mannered on the road as well. Wish I could get white letters in 37+ sizes
