Review Summary
The tires provide excellent off-road traction on mud, rocks, and challenging terrain. They also handle well on the road, with some users noting they are quieter than other mud-terrain tires. However, there are concerns about uneven treadwear, with some needing replacement after 20,000 miles. The tires are also described as being on the pricier side.

Great tire, but pretty expensive now.
I've ran the 39x13.5r17 KM3s for 2+ years and over 40k miles on my Jeep Gladiator. I've put these tires through all kinds of terrains and weather conditions from dirt, sand, rock crawling, mud, rain, hail, rock crawling in thunder storms and they haven't let me down. I keep rotate them every 3k to 5k miles and they have worn evenly. The side walls have been holding up great and the side bitters have provided plenty of traction when needed. The light weight of the tires is also a plus. My only gripe is these tires have gotten fairly expensive since I purchased them in 2021. The price has increased roughly by about $250 per tire. They are almosted priced near the cost of some 42s. Well known competitors 40s don't even cost as much as these 39s. With that being said it opens the door to try some of the top competitor's tires for about $200 less per tire. These 39s compared to most 40s make the 39s look like 37s because of the actual size.

Still going at 40k
I drive a 2017 Chevy Colorado ZR2. I got a set of the BFG Mud Terrain tires at around 31k miles in June of 2020 as a replacement of the awful stock tires. I was having sidewall punctures with the wimpy p-metric stock tires they put on these new trucks these days. I am at 80k and still have a bit of life in them. I run them in mud, rocks and heavy gravel. A bit noisy but that’s to be expected . I won’t trust anything else. I’ve always used BFG tires beginning in the late 90s. Mostly the KO all terrains. I’ve seen them evolved over the years. I also ran the older kM2 tires on a Chevy 2500HD. I’ve owned Land Rovers, Chevy trucks and others and have always insisted on BFG all terrains and or the mud terrains. Best tire out there!

Horrible
I had these on my 21(f250) and the rears are eating through tires, its completely perfect as far as alignment & parts in the rear end still under warranty and I have now spent 4.5k in tires in 2 years I'm so upset.

Only tire I'll buy now.
I've owned many types of all terrain and mud terrain tires. These are by far the best I've had. Great puncture resistance and tread life. I drive mostly gravel roads.

Lasted from Mexico to the tip of Argentina and back!
We replaced our aging K02's in Oaxaca, Mexico with a set of KM3's and they took us exploring offroad through the jungles of Central America to the great Paracas sand dunes of Peru to the Bolivian and Brazilian Amazon jungle. Had enough tread to make it back to the USA. Shocked they lasted that long on our heavily loaded Land Cruiser.

Terrible
I have a set of these on my Kawasaki KRX 1000 UTV and with only 400 miles of trails the rear tires are about SHOT already! The stock tires have 600 miles on them and look almost new still, I thought this was an upgrade, not downgrade. Absolutely terrible quality and at $350/each a rip off. We shall see if the "warranty" does anything.

I dunno…not happy :(
I have these tires on my Willys Wrangler. I like the look, but one has cupped really badly. I had my suspension checked out and it’s fine, so I’ve got to buy a new tire, which is super annoying because I’d prefer to have all of my tires the same age. Booooo.
Jeep Grrrrl, we get your frustration. We need to get some more details. A member of our team will be emailing you, or you can contact us at 866-866-6605 for assistance.

Good, but with issues.
I really like these tires, they are on my daily drive and see all sorts of terrain and conditions. 32000 miles in they are at 10/32 out of 18, still above 50%. However I had one tire start to delaminate and crack along the sidewall in multiple place. BF Goodrich wouldn't stand behind their product and even offer a slight credit or discount on the replacement.
AS, sorry to read of a problem with one of your tires. I don't find a case to indicate we have spoken with you or your retailer about this situation. One of our team members will be in touch with you to initiate a warranty claim through your retailer.

Really nice mud terrain.
What a great change. I think I made a good decision getting these. I had a set of Nitto Recon Grapplers, and it was like my Tacoma had no suspension. Now it rides so much better. They have minimal road noise, and made the ride quality better. Not sure how they will do in the rain yet, but we will see.

Great tires.
I ran these tires for over 3 years and around 25k miles and still had 8/32nds left of tread They were great on freeway and decent in the rain. In the snowy winter I would air down during storms and they would grip decently well in the deep snow They were quiet for a mud tire.. they had great on highway manors. In the mud they did extremely well as they should in ohio we have ( CLAY mud) very sticky and thick These bad boys would chew right through it with not a problem and they didn't really kick mud all over unless you layed into it But at low speeds they really just pulled through it and dug in with min throttle effort With proper chalk testing and rotations the tires wore perfect. Especially on a ram 2500 power wagon 37 inch tires are big boys loved the tires. Sadly due to cost at time to replace I couldn't justify the 140 a tire increase in price To buy another set.
